Welcome to BCCMHA
At Barry County Community Mental Health (BCCMHA), we offer comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder services, and physical health care in an accessible and affordable manner. Our continuum of care extends to all ages, with a multitude of services including outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs. We follow a recovery model which emphasizes and supports each individual's potential for physical and mental wellness, empowerment, and social inclusion. Services are provided in a person-centered, family-driven and youth-guided manner. Individuals, families and youth have an empowered, decision-making role in how their care is delivered.
We are accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and we are proud to be a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we can provide integrated services that jointly address medical and behavioral health needs. Expanded services now include care management, care coordination, and primary care screenings.

Annual Community Art Contest!
Barry County Community Mental Health Authority is announcing its Annual Community Art Project open to all individuals in Barry County! Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere that inspires recovery through art. Barry County artists are invited to show their creativity and passion for mental health awareness and recovery.
This year's theme is Hope. Artwork must be submitted by April 17th 8:30am through May 1st by 5:00pm. There will be two groups this year, under 18 years old and over 18 years old. All entries should contain family friendly content and portray a positive and encouraging message to motivate and inspire individuals and their families on their pathway to recovery. Mediums may include photography, paintings, pastel, pencil, charcoal, mixed media, and other forms that can be hung in the hallways and rooms of BCCMHA. Each entered piece must have an Artist Submission Entry Form. A committee of BCCMHA board members, staff, and recipients will review submitted works and selections for permanent display will be announced in the Hastings Reminder. Artwork will be framed and on display in BCCMHA.
